DeMotte Little League is looking for you!

We are currently looking to fill two field maintenance positions. The positions can work together to ensure that all tasks are completely on a daily or weekly basis. This would be a great position for a retiree or a high school student with availability immediately after school.

We are also seeking to hire multiple concession stand workers to operate the two stands at Field of Dreams. Employees begin preparing food items prior to game time and close following games.

Field Maintenance Person

(2 Positions to Rotate Based Upon Availability)

Duties include:

  • Drag up to ten fields per day with a ride-on machine
  • Chalk/paint baselines and batter's boxes daily for fields hosting games
  • Empty garbage cans into dumpster daily
  • Cutting of the grass inside ball field fences weekly with a 72" zero turn mower (training to be provided, experience with zero turn mowers is a plus)

More details:

  • Self-motivated candidate
  • Strong attention to detail preferred
  • Work completed before practices or games on weekdays
  • Typical field preparation is two hours or less (depending on the number of fields to be set up)
  • Grass cutting can be done in under three hours

Concession Stand Worker

Multiple Positions

Duties include:

  • Taking orders
  • Operating a register/handling money
  • Stocking supplies
  • Preparing food items
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary environment
  • Report any issues to the Concession Manager

More details:

  • Work hours generally limited to weeknights, with occasional Saturdays
  • Shifts last several hours
